Cookie Policy

Effective Date: February 11, 2026 | Last Updated: October 7, 2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how QuikForms, LLC ("QuikForms," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies, such as browser storage, on our website at www.sfquikforms.com (the "Marketing Site") and on forms built with QuikForms that our customers publish on their own Salesforce sites (the "Form Pages"). It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

This Cookie Policy is written to meet the EU ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC, as amended by Directive 2009/136/EC), the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR"), the UK GDPR, and other applicable privacy laws.

In short: the Marketing Site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, so it shows no cookie banner. QuikForms sets no cookies on Form Pages either. Form Pages keep the answers you have typed in your browser tab so a reload does not lose them, and the Salesforce site that hosts a form, and Cloudflare Turnstile where the customer uses it, may set their own cookies.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit it. Websites use them to work, to remember information, and to report on how they are used. Similar technologies include browser storage (local storage and session storage), which a page can use to keep information on your device.

Cookies can be "first-party" (set by the site you are visiting) or "third-party" (set by another party), and "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (kept for a set period or until you delete them).

3. Where This Policy Applies

QuikForms is involved in two kinds of web pages, which use these technologies differently:

  1. The Marketing Site (www.sfquikforms.com): our website describing QuikForms, its documentation, and these legal pages. QuikForms operates it.
  2. Form Pages: forms built with QuikForms that a customer publishes on its own Salesforce Site or Experience Cloud site. The customer operates the site and decides how it is configured.

QuikForms does not use advertising, targeting, or cross-site tracking cookies anywhere, and does not sell or share personal data collected through cookies.

4.1 Strictly Necessary

Cookies and storage that are essential to provide a service you have asked for, such as security, bot protection, keeping a session, or keeping what you have typed into a form. Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive they do not require consent.

4.2 Analytics and Performance

Cookies and storage that record how visitors use a site. QuikForms uses none. The Marketing Site counts visits without them (Section 5.1), and QuikForms' form analytics are computed on the server (Section 6.3).

4.3 Functionality

Cookies and storage that remember your choices, such as a preferred language. QuikForms uses none.

4.4 Advertising and Targeting

Cookies used to deliver or measure advertising. QuikForms uses none.

5. The Marketing Site (www.sfquikforms.com)

5.1 No Cookies or Device Storage

The Marketing Site sets no cookies and uses no local storage or session storage. It uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and visits without cookies or device storage and without identifying or tracking visitors (see Privacy Policy, Section 2.1(a)). Because nothing is stored on your device, the Marketing Site does not ask for cookie consent.

5.2 Google Fonts

The Marketing Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Your browser's request for the font files sends your IP address and standard request headers to Google. According to Google, the Google Fonts service does not set cookies. See the Google Fonts privacy FAQ.

5.3 No Other Third-Party Technologies

The Marketing Site uses no other third-party tracking, advertising, social media, or remarketing technologies. Some documentation pages play videos hosted on the Marketing Site itself, which set no cookies.

6. Form Pages

A Form Page is part of the customer's own Salesforce site. QuikForms sets no cookies on Form Pages and uses no local storage there. What a Form Page stores on your device comes from three sources:

6.1 Session Resume (Session Storage)

So that you do not lose your answers if the page reloads, the form keeps the values you have typed so far in your browser's session storage for that tab, together with the page you are on. They are never sent to QuikForms, never include files, signatures, or masked fields, and are deleted when you submit the form or close the tab. The customer can turn this off for a form. This storage is strictly necessary to provide the form you are filling in.

6.2 Cloudflare Turnstile

Many customers protect their forms with Cloudflare Turnstile, a CAPTCHA service, using keys from their own Cloudflare account. Turnstile runs in a frame loaded from challenges.cloudflare.com and may set or read cookies or similar storage there to tell people from bots. Cloudflare decides the names and lifetimes of those cookies, which can change; Cloudflare's Cookie Policy and Turnstile documentation describe them. They serve security and bot protection only.

6.3 Salesforce Site Cookies

Salesforce Sites and Experience Cloud sites set their own cookies, for example to manage sessions, balance load, and remember settings. Salesforce controls these cookies, and the customer controls its site's configuration, including any cookie consent banner Experience Cloud provides. Salesforce's documentation lists the cookies its platform uses.

QuikForms' own form analytics (view and submission counts, device category, browser type, and referrer domain) are computed on the server from each request, using a keyed hash of the visitor's IP address and the date for unique visitor counts, and use no cookies, browser storage, or fingerprinting.

7. Information for QuikForms Customers

If you publish forms with QuikForms, you are the controller of the data your forms collect and the operator of the site they run on, so you are responsible for your site's cookie notice and any consent mechanism the law requires.

7.1 What to Disclose

Item Set By Purpose Suggested Classification
Session resume (session storage, keys beginning qf:draft:) The QuikForms form, in the visitor's browser Keeps typed answers through a reload; cleared on submission or when the tab closes Strictly necessary
Cloudflare Turnstile cookies or storage Cloudflare, Inc., where you configure Turnstile Bot detection protecting your forms Strictly necessary (security)
Salesforce site cookies Salesforce, Inc. Operation of your Salesforce Site or Experience Cloud site As classified by Salesforce
Anything added through Custom HTML or plugins You, or the provider you choose As you configure Your responsibility to assess

7.2 What QuikForms Does Not Set

  • QuikForms sets no cookies on Form Pages.
  • QuikForms uses no local storage on Form Pages, and uses session storage only for session resume.
  • QuikForms uses no analytics, tracking, advertising, or targeting cookies, and no browser fingerprinting.

7.3 Your Responsibilities

  1. Update your own cookie notice to cover the items in Section 7.1 that apply to your forms, particularly where your forms are used in the EEA or the UK.
  2. Decide whether you need a consent mechanism for your site. Session resume and Turnstile are generally treated as strictly necessary, but you should confirm the classification with your own counsel for your circumstances.
  3. Review what you add. Scripts or trackers you add through Custom HTML, plugins, or your site's own configuration may set cookies that this policy does not cover.
  4. Use the notice templates. Our End-User Notice Templates provide privacy notice and consent text for your forms; add the cookie and storage items above to the notice you publish.
  5. Review the providers' documentation: Cloudflare Cookie Policy and Salesforce Privacy Information.

8. Your Choices

8.1 Browser Controls

Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies and site data, for all sites or for individual sites. Blocking cookies or site data on a Form Page may stop the CAPTCHA, the hosting site, or session resume from working.

  • Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies, and Site settings
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Apple Safari: Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data

8.2 Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

The Marketing Site sets no cookies and does no tracking, so it behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. See Privacy Policy, Section 15.

Technology Legal Basis
Strictly necessary storage and cookies on Form Pages (session resume, Turnstile, Salesforce site operation) Exempt from consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive as strictly necessary to provide the service the visitor requested. The customer, as controller and site operator, is responsible for this assessment on its site.
Analytics, functionality, and advertising cookies None are used by QuikForms. If any are introduced on the Marketing Site, consent will be obtained before they are set, under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, and this policy will be updated first.

10. International Data Transfers

The third-party services described here are based in the United States and may process data outside the EEA and the UK:

  • Google Fonts: Google LLC. Transfers are governed by Google's data processing terms, which include the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. See Google's safeguards for international data transfers.
  • Cloudflare: Cloudflare, Inc. processes data in its global network of data centers. Transfers are governed by Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum, which includes Standard Contractual Clauses. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or the law. When we do, we will change the "Last Updated" date above and, for material changes, post a notice on the Marketing Site. We will update this policy before introducing any new cookie or similar technology on the Marketing Site.
